At The Charity Hub, we’re dedicated to supporting charities and non-profits across South Yorkshire and beyond. Our mission is to empower the third sector with the tools, resources, and connections needed to make a lasting impact. But what does that look like in practice? Here’s how our work is changing lives, as told through the numbers.
Over £100,000 in Resources Shared
Since we launched, our networking events have facilitated the sharing of more than £100,000 worth of resources, work, and support. From valuable tools and expert advice to collaborative opportunities, we’re ensuring charities get the help they need to amplify their efforts and serve their communities better.
450+ Organisations Connected
Our events don’t just share resources—they build relationships. Over 450 organisations have signed up for our newsletter, and 200+ attendees have joined our regular sessions to discuss key sector issues, share best practices, and collaborate. These connections are driving real change in the third sector.
300+ Trainees Empowered
Through programs like the Multiply Scheme, we’ve helped more than 300 trainees gain skills that make a difference. From AI-powered grant writing to essential workshops in cooking and education, our training sessions are designed to meet the needs of both charity staff and service users.
200+ Volunteer Placements
Connecting the private sector with the third sector is one of our key goals. In the past year, we’ve facilitated over 200 volunteer placements, helping businesses contribute meaningfully to community projects while supporting charities with the manpower they need.
Looking Ahead
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our community and funding initiatives like the Multiply Scheme. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to expand our reach, develop new programs, and create even more opportunities for collaboration, learning, and support.
